Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is still regarded today as one of the world’s greatest figures and a true and fearless leader of the subcontinent, whose enthusiastic leadership helped the Muslim nation realize the dream of a separate homeland.
The Father of the Nation has always taught the nation to stay away from racial prejudice and provincial prejudice while today Pakistan seems to be suffering from the same racial prejudice and nationalism that the leaders of the freedom movement used to consider as poison.
If PML-N’s politics is focused on Punjab, then PPP is limited to Sindh. Similarly, if we talk about PTI, then this party seems to be limited to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The MQM (Pakistan) is considered a representative body of Muhajirs, and that’s it.
All political parties claim to lead the country at the national level, but inside the house they seem to be an example of allegedly dividing the flock and giving to their own. It is said that if MQM-P comes into power then the jobs will be given to Muhajirs and if PPP comes in, then the jobs will be given to Sindhis only.
This is the situation of the PML-N which is accused of never allowing the Siraiki speakers of Punjab to come to the fore and perhaps this is the reason why the way is being paved to make South Punjab a separate province whose secretariat has also been set up.
Consider that today no one is a Pakistani, but some of us are immigrants, some are Sindhi, some are Punjabi, some are Baloch and some are seen holding the flag of Pathan or Hazarewall and if one holds the green crescent flag and shouts “Long live Pakistan”. Then he or she is asked, is today 14th August ??
Remember that bloody day of December 16, 2014, when terrorists targeted the Army Public School and selectively killed our children, teachers and students and the whole nation lined up against the terrorists.
Not only does our nation unite against terrorism, but we also show some of the same enthusiasm in the face of natural disasters. Does anyone remember the October 8, 2005 earthquake? Otherwise, it was a natural disaster that united the nation to show sympathy.
The national artists spread their swings like beggars to raise funds for the quake victims and then collected huge donations from various countries including USA, UK and Saudi Arabia which were given to the quake victims of Punjab, Azad Kashmir and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. ۔
The question is why every time the Pakistani nation waits for a catastrophe, earthquake, flood or terrorist attack to unite? Why don’t we unite for our economic interests, our national goals and our national dignity? please consider at ones.
