LAHORE: Free Fire, Garena’s first self-developed game, unveiled Pakistan’s all-format captain Babar Azam and vice-captain Shadab Khan as its latest brand ambassador.
Free Fire will collaborate with Babar Azam and Shadab Khan to promote esports in Pakistan which will certainly bring people and communities together.

Babar is a renowned name in world cricket and is largely known for his classy cover drives. He is currently the number one batter in both one-day internationals (ODIs) and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), while the right-hander is at the fifth spot in Test rankings.
Meanwhile, Islamabad United’s Shadab is known for energetic fielding and leg spin. Lately, he has developed decent skills with the bat and is very much handy when it comes to power hitting.
Both cricketers made the announcement of the collaboration on Twitter. They are expected to make special appearances at the events hosted by Free Fire.

This is not the first time Garena has collaborated with sporting superstars. They recently made a mega collaboration with iconic footballer Cristiano Ronaldo. In that partnership, players were able to play as Cristiano Ronaldo in the game, in an all-new character called Chrono.
Free Fire is a battle royale shooting game where gamers come from all over the world to play against each other. Free Fire is more popular than other games because it has become a social platform where gamers can interact with each other.
