Youth needs to be introduced to high Islamic values: PM Khan

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the youth need to be introduced to high Islamic values while the decision to bring the modern system of scholarships was taken on the complaint of students.

According to details, the prime minister while addressing the inaugural function of the Scholarship Complaint Portal said that when we came to power we had no idea how many scholarships were needed. 

Addressing the function, the prime minister said that NIST has set a high standard of education in the country. India spends a lot on education. Students were facing difficulties due to the termination of scholarships while studying in Pakistan, he said.

During the speech, the prime minister said that the youth need to be informed about the welfare state of Madinah. The Holy Prophet was not merciful for only Muslims but for all worlds. He who follows the principles of the welfare state of Madinah will be successful,” the prime minister asserted.

PM Imran Khan said that the purpose of bringing Pakistan into existence was to make the country an Islamic welfare state. “Never in the history of the world have there been so many great leaders in such a short period of time as there have been in the Islamic State of Madinah,” he said.

“Our first goal is to take the younger generation to technology with the help of scholarships,” he said. “The second goal is to make them better human beings by training them while the third is to implement merit system in the country. They want to uplift the hungry and destitute classes,” he added.
