Earthquake tremors felt in Gwadar, parts of Balochistan

QUETTA: An earthquake has hit various parts of  Gwadar and Balochistan on Wednesday morning.

According to details, tremors were felt in Gwadar city and surrounding areas of Balochistan. The epicenter was reported below the epicenter, according to the US Geological Survey. 

According to the seismological center, the depth of the quake was 25 km and its epicenter was under the sea near the coast of Gwadar. No casualties or damage were reported from the quake.

It may be recalled that earlier tremors were felt in Gilgit, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the federal capital Islamabad which caused panic among the citizens.

Earlier this month, tremors in Peshawar, Swat, Nowshera, Shabqadar, Mohmand, Swabi, Mardan, Bajaur, Buner, Shangla, Lower Dir, and surrounding areas of Malakand and Abbottabad in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also created an atmosphere of fear.
