ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the sacrifices of the martyrs of Army Public School did not go in vain while time has proved that terrorists have no nation or religion.
According to details, seven years have passed since the terrorist attack on Army Public School Peshawar during which 150 people were killed. PM Imran Khan in his statement on the APS tragedy said that there is cowardly thinking behind terrorism.
Paying homage to the martyrs of Army Public School, in a message to the nation, the prime minister said that the cowardly thinking of terrorists did not fail to target even unarmed children for their nefarious intentions.
In his message on APS, PM Imran Khan said that cowards martyred the future of the nation and unarmed children by attacking them. “Today we have to remember the brave teachers who stood like a plywood wall to protect the students,” he said.
In his message, the prime minister said that teachers had sacrificed their lives for the protection of children. The sacrifices of APS martyrs did not go in vain, he said by adding, “Instead of getting discouraged, the brave Pakistani nation got higher and the whole nation became united.”
The prime minister said that today is the day of renewal of the pledge of allegiance so that the entire nation should once again unite and stand against the hostile elements of the country possessing nefarious political intentions which spread religious, ethnic, and sectarian prejudices and support the state against them.
