KARACHI: Cumbersome conditions have been issued by the officials of Sindh Education Department Colleges for admission in Class XI.
Sindh Electronic Centralized College Admission Program (SECCAP) announced an admission policy on the online portal for students from all over Sindh, on November 5. According to the admission policy, 12 conditions have been issued for admission in colleges across Sindh, out of which some conditions have baffled the students as well as the parents.

In these 12 conditions, the candidate would have to bring a fifth-grade certificate, eighth-grade, tenth-grade character certificate along with its character certificate, domicile, PRC (permanent resident certificate), and Form C for admission in class XI.
Moreover, in addition, the vaccine certificate approved by NADRA, father’s identity card, student’s B form or identity card, ninth class examination slip, and each student’s own e-mail are also required.
However, these conditions will not only increase the financial burden on students and parents but will also increase the complexity for many. As the emergency PRC formation fees in Karachi are 2000 to 26000 and in Hyderabad, it costs around 1800 to 2000.
Earlier, the above-mentioned conditions were applicable only for those candidates who had to opt for admission in any professional degree or university, but the implication of these new policies at the college level would only increase more problems for students all across Sindh.
