ISLAMABAD: The 73rd death anniversary of Father of Nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is being observed today with due solemnity and reverence.
According to the details, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was born in Karachi on December 25, 1876, which became the capital of the beloved homeland of Pakistan after 1947 and was called the city of Quaid after the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam.
He received his early education in Karachi and became a barrister after completing his higher education abroad. After sharpening his skills as a lawyer, the Quaid-e-Azam chose the field of politics.
Before leading the All India Muslim League, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a staunch supporter of the Hindu-Muslim brotherhood and also became the political leader of the All India Muslim League.
Realizing the anti-Muslim sentiments, the Quaid-e-Azam joined the Muslim League, where the Pakistan Resolution was passed in 1940, according to which Muslims demanded an independent homeland as a separate nation.
In the next seven years under the enthusiastic leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Muslims gained Pakistan only through political and unarmed struggle and the beloved homeland emerged as an independent Muslim country on the world map.
After giving an independent homeland to the Muslims on August 14, 1947, the fathers of the nation could not support Pakistan for long and on September 11, 1948, they met the real creator.
Today, on the occasion of the 73rd birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, important events will be held in different cities across Pakistan, including Islamabad and Karachi, in which the life of the Quaid-e-Azam will be highlighted.
