KARACHI: A recent survey, conducted by Gallup Pakistan, has revealed that at least six out of every 10 Pakistanis believe that the PTI-led incumbent government will complete its five-year constitutional term.
According to the survey aired on a private news channel today (Tuesday), almost 63 percent of Pakistanis believe that PTI will remain in power for the full duration of its tenure.
Meanwhile, the other 17% said that PTI would not be able to stay the full term the government would fail to accomplish its set goals. About 20% of those who participated in the survey said they could not comment at this time.
Earlier in 2020, A survey of UAE-based magazine revealed that up to 86 percent of Pakistani citizens have supported the incumbent government’s party PTI for the 2023 election.
People were asked to select one out of four options in which three were major parties of PDM (Pakistan Democratic Movement). However, the whole opposition collectively could not receive up to 15 percent of the votes in the survey.
