Sushant Singh Rajput’s death comes days after his former manager Disha Salian reportedly died by suicide after jumping from a high-rise building. He had reacted to the death on social media by expressing shock and grief.
The 34-year-old actor made his Bollywood debut in the year 2013 through ‘Kai Po Che.’ Let’s remember the actor by taking a look at five of his films and the diverse roles he played in them:
MS Dhoni: The Untold Story
One of Sushant’s best works is the sports-drama where he played the role of Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni. It was the first blockbuster film of Sushant. Sushant underwent a physical transformation for the role and sported two different looks in the film. In this praiseworthy performance, he truly matched Dhoni’s mannerisms, speech, and body language.

Kai Po Che
Sushant made his Bollywood debut with Abhishek Kapoor’s Kai Po Che. Sushant played the character of a cricket coach and an adamant friend. The film highlights unconditional friendship and passion for cricket.

Detective Byomkesh Bakshi
Sushant’s performance in this thriller was commendable. In this mystery-action film, Sushant’s depiction of the Byomkesh Bakshi character garnered positive reviews from critics. However, the film didn’t have a good run at the box office.

Kedarnath
Sushant played a Muslim porter Mansoor in Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath. Though the character was underwritten, Sushant played it with utmost honesty. He had the perfect innocence as well as maturity for his character.

Chhichhore
The film which released last year, Chhichhore, proved Sushant’s acting power once again. He was damn good as the young college student and also impressed us in his old age avatar.
