ISLAMABAD: The second National Junior Association Style Kabaddi Championship organized by the Pakistan Kabaddi Federation will begin tomorrow in the federal capital.
According to the details, Pakistan Kabaddi Federation is organizing the second championship from January 13 at Pakistan Sports Complex Islamabad. Two days ago, Kabaddi Federation Secretary General Rana Muhammad Sarwar said that the preparations for the championship have started.
Around 11 teams are participating in the Asian Style Kabaddi Championship, including teams from Pakistan Army, Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Air Force, Pakistan Police, Pakistan WAPDA, Higher Education Commission, Islamabad, Punjab, Balochistan, Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Secretary Kabaddi Federation said that the managers’ meeting of the teams participating in the event is being held today, in which the draw of the tournament will also be announced today. The championship will continue till January 16, at the end of which prizes will be distributed among the successful teams.
