ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will preside over a meeting of the federal cabinet today to consider the 17-point agenda.
According to details, important issues of national and political significance including the coronavirus vaccine will be considered. The price of the coronavirus vaccine is expected to be approved in the federal cabinet meeting, itwill also review the progress of the broadsheet case.
The Chairman of the Austerity Restructuring Task Force will brief the cabinet members at the federal cabinet meeting, while the National Disaster Risk Management Fund and Future Administration Fund will also be briefed. The cabinet will be briefed on economic indicators, date, and schedule of local body elections for cantonment boards will also be approved.

The formation of cabinet committees in accordance with the orders of the Islamabad High Court will also be discussed. Approval will also be given to implementing the Mandatory Services Act in NAFTA. There will also be a briefing on Pakistan’s participation in the Bamboo and Rattan Global Network on Environmental Pollution.
The extension of the Mandatory Service Act in the Security Printing Corporation will be ratified. The audit of NADRA for the financial year 2020 will also be approved. It may be recalled that Prime Minister Imran Khan had convened today’s meeting of the federal cabinet two days ago.
