GUJRANWALA: The body of a 12-year-old boy who was abducted on Friday was recovered on Sunday. The minor was allegedly raped before being strangled to death.
According to the police, Abu Bakr, a student of class V, was kidnapped and strangled to death in the Shaikh Rajah area of Saddar, Gujranwala, as reported by 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday. Abu Bakr mysteriously disappeared last Friday (September 13).
His body was later found in fields near his house. The police, suspecting foul play, arrested three of his neighbors: Amir Hamza, Muazzam, and Asmat Bhooli. During the investigation, Hamza confessed to the crime, revealing that they had sexually assaulted and then strangled the minor boy.
The suspects are currently in police custody as the investigation continues.
