MUMBAI: A 10-year-old girl from Indian state of Kerala has set a new record after she made over 30 food items in less than one hour.
Saanvi M Prajit, prepared dishes including uttapam, fried rice and chicken roast within such a short span of time. Her family said she has been recognised by the Asia Book of Records and the India Book of Records.
Within an hour, Saanvi cooked 33 items such as idli, waffles, mushroom tikka, papdi chaat, pancakes, paneer tikka, egg bullseye, and sandwiches. Her family told an Indian news agency she had created a record for the maximum number of dishes prepared by a child.
Saanvi’s mother Manjima said the Asia Book of Records authorities watched online the cookery event organised on 29th August at their residence. Two gazetted officers witnessed the cooking of 33 items in an hour by her, she said.
Saanvi said she was inspired by her mother and that she was able to achieve the feat. Her mother is a star chef and cookery reality show finalist.
Saanvi took interest in cooking from a very early age. She has also participated in Children’s Cookery shows and has won recognition for her effort in the culinary field. She also has a YouTube channel.
