WASHINGTON: The number of coronavirus cases worldwide has exceeded 110,035,633 while 2,429,707 people have lost their lives.
More than 84.848 million coronavirus patients have been cured in the world and more than 227.55 million are undergoing treatment. The coronavirus situation is the worst in the United States, with 499,991 deaths and more than 283.81 million people affected.
India ranks second in the world in terms of coronavirus cases, with 155,949 deaths and more than 1937,000 people diagnosed with the virus. The total number of deaths from coronavirus in Brazil is 240,983 and more than 99.21 million people are affected.

More than 4,099,000 people in Russia have been infected with the coronavirus, bringing the total death toll to 80,979. More than 4,058,000 people have been affected in the UK and 118,198 have died. In France, more than 3,489,000 people have been affected and 82,812 have lost their lives.
More than 3,096,000 people have been affected and 65,979 have died in Spain. In Italy, more than 2.739 million people have been affected, while 94,171 people have died.
The first 50 million cases were reported in 356 days, while the last 50 million cases were registered in just 90 days. According to statistics, the first case of coronavirus was registered on 17th November 2019, after which the number of cases reached one crore on 27th June 2020.
