ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Information and Broadcasting General (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa has said work on M-8 project, also known as Gwadar-Ratodero Motorway, will commence as a top priority.
The Central Development Working Party (CDWP) has accorded approval for the construction of the 146-kilometer-long Hoshab-Awaran section of the motorway, Bajwa tweeted.
“This road in remote districts of Kech/Awaran is a beacon of light for impoverished South Balochistan, will change lives,” said Asim Saleem Bajwa.

On Saturday, Asim Saleem Bajwa had reaffirmed the commitment to launching and completing all projects under CPEC in Gwadar.
On a social media website Twitter, Saleem Bajwa had said, “Gwadar International Airport construction in progress,” he said while sharing pictures of the project.
“We reaffirm our commitment to launching and completing all projects in Gwadar in line with PM’s directive,” he added. Bajwa had informed that the project under construction cost about $230 million.
