Super hit drama “Meray Paas Tum Ho” might have another season as Khalil‑ur‑Rehman Qamar, the drama’s writer, Humayun Saeed and Adnan Siddiqui have also teased the possibility.
Khalil‑ur‑Rehman Qamar, the drama’s writer, has suggested that although he rarely writes sequels, he is considering one for this series. He said, “I normally do not write sequels for my dramas, but I may think of a sequel for this one”.
Both Humayun Saeed and Adnan Siddiqui have also teased the possibility. Siddiqui’s social media posts playfully hinted at “Meray Paas Tum Ho Part 2,” while confirming that he and Saeed are working together again—though in a separate project titled Law and Love, not necessarily a direct sequel to the original drama.
The final episode of Meray Paas Tum Ho was watched by over 80 million viewers in Pakistan alone, while its total viewership across platforms such as ARY Digital and YouTube has reached into the billions. The drama originally aired from August 17, 2019, to January 25, 2020.
Recently, ARY Digital Network CEO Jerjees Seja raised the question of a sequel on Instagram, tagging the show’s producer Humayun Saeed and director Nadeem Baig.
He wrote: “Humayun Saeed and Nadeem Baig! Should we make Meray Paas Tum Ho 2?”
Humayun Saeed also reshared this post on his Instagram story.
However, director Nadeem Baig responded via his Instagram story, stating that since Humayun Saeed’s character in Meray Paas Tum Ho had concluded, “let’s do something else.”
At present, there is no official confirmation that Meray Paas Tum Ho will return for a Season 2. However, the writer has left the door open, and cast members have hinted at its potential. Fans remain hopeful—but until ARY Digital or the production team formally announces a sequel, it’s still speculative.
