Television actor Nitin Chauhaan, known for his roles in popular shows like MTV Splitsvilla 5, Crime Patrol, and Tera Yaar Hoon Main, tragically passed away on November 7 at the age of 35 in Mumbai.
The actor’s death ruled as suicide, has left the TV industry and his fans in shock, with many colleagues and friends expressing their sorrow over his untimely demise.
However, so far, there is no clue about the reasons that led him to this extreme act.
Actor Sudeep Sahir shared a heartfelt tribute on his Instagram story, writing, “Rest in peace, buddy,” while others in the entertainment industry have also expressed their sadness. However, details surrounding Nitin’s death have raised questions, particularly about his mental and emotional state before the incident.
Nitin’s father, who rushed to Mumbai to claim his son’s body, spoke to the Times of India about the shocking news. Nitin’s friend Kuldeep revealed that he received a call from Nitin’s family early on the morning of November 7, informing him that Nitin had passed away by suicide. Kuldeep, still in disbelief, shared that he had been making plans to meet Nitin in the coming weeks, including a trip to Khatu Shyam Ji’s temple.
Kuldeep fondly recalled Nitin as the life of their group, always prioritizing the comfort of his friends and family during their trips. He said, “He would always drive us and make sure we were comfortable. Nitin has been a part of our life, and we’ve shared so many memories.”
In the wake of Nitin’s death, some social media posts hinted that the actor may have been facing personal or professional struggles. Actor Vibhuti Thakur expressed her shock on Instagram, writing, “Wish you had the strength to face all the troubles. Wish you were mentally strong like your body.” This led to speculation about possible pressure on Nitin due to career or personal challenges.
However, Kuldeep denied rumors of financial problems, explaining that Nitin had never mentioned any such issues. He stated, “We used to share everything, and there were no financial troubles. I wish he had reached out to me. If he had, maybe I could have stopped him.”
