Lawyer turned actor Ameer Gilani, who rose to prominence with Hum Tv’s ‘Sabaat’, talked about his ideal life partner and what he will be looking for in his future wife.

The actor who is currently starring in a new drama ‘Neem’, was a guest on Fuchsia where he shared that he wants his better half to be his best friend.

According to Gilani, friendship will be his ideal characteristic to look for in his future life partner. He also shared that he believes a man should strike a balance between his parents and his wife as she is a new person in the family and will be coming with a different mindset.

He also talked about breaking stereotypes and marrying someone who is divorced or older than him and said that marrying an older woman is totally normal.

He said that sometimes things do not work out and people get divorced, so he can see himself marrying a woman who is divorced or older than him and he does not consider these things as taboo.

For Ameer, the red flags he thinks a woman can have is if she is overly possessive. “Yes, calling and taking care is normal but annoying someone and being needy is a quality that he cannot bear,” he maintained.

He also shared that he cannot be with someone who will try to change him as this is a red flag for both men and women.
