Simran Singh was a 25-year-old Instagram influencer and freelance radio jockey from Jammu and Kashmir, widely recognized by her fans as “Jammu Ki Dhadkan” (Heartbeat of Jammu).
She had amassed a significant following of nearly 700,000 on Instagram and was known for her engaging personality and vibrant presence in the entertainment industry.
Simran began her career as a radio jockey at Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM at the age of 21, where she quickly gained popularity for her relatable content and lively shows.
Tragically, Simran was found dead in her Gurugram apartment on December 26, 2024. Police suspect that her death was a case of suicide, although no suicide note was discovered at the scene.
A friend who had been staying with her alerted authorities after finding her body hanging in her room. Despite the shocking nature of her death, Simran’s family has ruled out foul play, indicating that she had been facing personal challenges but did not blame anyone for her passing.
Her last social media post was made on December 13, where she shared a light-hearted reel that reflected her cheerful persona. The suddenness of her death has left her fans and the broader community in mourning, highlighting the importance of mental health awareness.
