The leaked audios of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Federal Ministers, Maryam Nawaz, and Chairman PTI Imran Khan have gone viral on other social media platforms including Twitter. The question is, who are the masterminds behind the audio leaks?

After the conversation of federal ministers including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif went viral on social media, big questions are being raised about the security situation of the country. Imran Khan’s secret conversation with his secretary Azam Khan also became an ornament of social media.

PM’s leaked audio and big question mark

In an audio clip of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif that has gone viral on social media recently, Maryam Nawaz can be heard asking him to increase the prices of petroleum products. In the audio clip, the Prime Minister’s conversation about Maryam Nawaz’s son-in-law can also be heard.

On this occasion, four major questions arose that whether the Prime Minister’s House was so insecure that it became so easy to listen to the conversation taking place there? The second question was whether a meeting could be held in the Prime Minister’s House on the issue of national security after the audio leaks.

The third question was whether the government and the prime minister would be able to express their satisfaction by holding an in-camera meeting for policy making. While the fourth question was raised whether there are such secret recording systems in the Prime Minister’s House, which federal ministers and cabinet members are not aware of.

Leaked audio of Imran Khan

Today, the audio clip of former prime minister Imran Khan’s conversation with his personal secretary Azam Khan also got leaked on social media. In the audio allegedly featuring Khan, a man can be heard talking about the cypher which Khan time and again has claimed mentions the ‘threat’ to remove his government.

Khan allegedly told Azam in the audio the date of which cannot be ascertained at the moment that ‘let’s just play’ with the cypher and not mention America’s name.

If the above audio of Imran Khan is accepted as correct, Tehreek-e-Insaf’s narrative that Imran Khan was removed from power by an American conspiracy, is clearly stated in the clip to present the cipher as a conspiracy.

Investigation decision

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed concern over the alleged audio leak of himself and the Principal Secretary and announced the formation of a high-level investigation committee. The Prime Minister said that such security lapses are a question mark.

He said that those who come to the Prime Minister’s House will think a hundred times that the conversation is being recorded here. This is a problem of honour of 22 crore people of Pakistan. “I did not mention diamonds and jewels in my conversation with Maryam Nawaz,” he said.

Who made the clip viral?

So far, the names of those who made the audio clips of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and others viral from the Prime Minister House have not been revealed. Similarly, who leaked the audio clip of Imran Khan is not known at present.

The alleged hacker, who threatened to leak more government audio by September 30, recently claimed to be negotiating with Pakistan to stop the leaks and said the government wants to stop more leaks and is negotiating.

On the other hand, the hacker also claimed that the Intelligence Bureau (IB) was interfering in the negotiations. The alleged hacker advised the government not to delay the talks through the IB.

Apparently, it seems that the elements who made the audio clips of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz viral on social media are also involved in the audio leak of Imran Khan, while these types of audios keep appearing in the public domain from time to time. The security situation has become serious on which the government will have to take immediate steps.
