When will matric exams be held in Punjab? Schedule issued

The Punjab Board Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) has finalized the temporary date sheet for the annual matric and ninth-class examinations across Punjab, as reported on Monday.

According to the newly issued schedule, the matric exams will begin on March 4, 2025, with the first paper covering Arabic and History subjects. The last paper for matric students will be held on March 25, 2025, in the Punjabi subject.

For ninth-class students, the annual exams will start on March 25, 2024, with the English subject. The last paper for ninth-class exams will take place on April 18, 2024, in the Punjabi subject.

In observance of Eid-ul-Fitr, holidays will be observed from March 29, 2025, to April 4, 2025, across the province. The practical exams for both ninth and tenth classes are scheduled to begin on April 23, 2025.

All examination boards in Punjab will follow the unified date sheet for the annual exams, ensuring consistency across the province.
