LAHORE: Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed has said that the wheat shortage was a conspiracy against the incumbent government.
While addressing a press conference in Lahore today, Sheikh Rasheed said that Prime Minister Imran Khan would take action against those who created the shortage of wheat and sugar in the country.
While highlighting Maryam Nawaz’s plea to travel abroad, the railway minister said that the federal government would not allow her to travel abroad as the Sharif family had looted the national wealth to enjoy luxurious life abroad.
Earlier this week, Sheikh Rasheed said that the government would complete its five years tenure and the opposition could not do anything against it.
He further said that Prime Minister Imran Khan would not go anywhere so those who opposed it was free to protest. He pointed out at Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazulr Rehman by saying that he would not stage another protest against the government.
Moreover, Sheikh Rasheed would launch the Gujranwala express train from Gujranwala to Lahore on Monday. The new train would facilitate the passengers in Rs100.
