Not only this, but if you happen to see someone clinging to wires or poles on the road, do not try to save yourself, but instead call emergency services. Avoid touching electrical wires, switches and doorbells during rain. Do it because even this small action can be fatal.

Be careful while driving

It is important to drive at a slow speed during rains, if your car gets stuck in standing water on the road during rains, instead of getting out of the car and going back on foot, make an emergency call and call someone for help because by walking Going back is not without danger, in such a case electric wires that have fallen into the water can be fatal.

If the car gets filled with water, keep your feet on the seat and do not park the car next to pools.

Avoid going out unnecessarily

Do not go out unnecessarily in the rainy season and especially where the water is high, there may be open drains which can cause loss of life, so it is better to go out only in case of emergency.

Use umbrella and rain coat

Umbrella, plastic shoes and raincoat are the basic necessities of monsoon, so before going out in the rain, carry an umbrella or a raincoat with you, it will not only protect you from the rain but also your personal belongings from getting wet. It will be saved while keeping a plastic bag with you can also be useful in rain.

What should one do if suddenly caught in such a situation?

Slow down your speed while driving.

Try to contact the rescue services.

Trust local people’s route information and don’t risk your life.

In flood situation, first protect your life and try to get back from the place immediately.
