The concert, which also featured singer Nimra Mehra, escalated when some fans began dancing near the stage, prompting security intervention.
Reports stated that a group of fans was dancing near the stage when security intervened, leading to a verbal confrontation. The situation quickly escalated into a physical fight.
In the viral video, Khelvi can be seen on stage observing the commotion before ultimately stopping the performance.
Commenting on the viral video, social media users criticized the concertgoers, calling them ignorant, while others expressed disappointment, saying that such actions tarnish Pakistan’s image internationally.
As of now, neither Attaullah Khan Esakhelvi nor singer Nimra Mehra have issued any statements regarding the incident.
