ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Thursday that the government wants to bring people out of poverty and has been working in this regard despite financial challenges.
According to reports, the Prime Minister was speaking at a ceremony where he mentioned, “We want to bring people out of poverty. The government initiated the Ehsaas Programme for this purpose, despite financial difficulties.”
On the occasion, he further said that Pakistan has the best economic team and the government is able to overcome the financial challenges with its help.
Premier Imran Khan also recalled, “Pakistan was the fastest developing country in the world in the ’60s. Our system of governance and bureaucracy were the best in Asia.”
With the help of industries, Pakistan thrived and made significant progress in the past, added PM Imran Khan.
He also revealed that a common remained unable to be a part of that development. The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf government has been working to bring innovation in the country’s system so that all countrymen can taste the fruit of the development.
He maintained that despite financial and other challenges, the PTI-led government has initiated educational project, called Ehsaas Under Graduate programme which will facilitate the education of under-privileged children.
“Improving the education system is necessary for national development. The use of modern technology is inevitable to achieve sustainable development”, said PM.
