A 28-year-old Indian man on a Qantas flight was detained after he allegedly attacked and threatened to stab passengers and a crew member, the New York Post reported.
The airline confirmed an incident occurred during the flight in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A video released by Australia-based Nine News showed a man screaming aggressively while the flight was midair and lashing out at one of the female flight attendants before he was tackled to the floor of the cabin by a group of other passengers.

One witness said the man had ‘gone crazy’ on the flight, which left Denpasar on Saturday night and landed in Melbourne just before 7am on Sunday.
Footage of the shocking incident shows the man standing up from his seat and screaming incoherently before declaring: ‘If you don’t get away from me I will f*** you’.
He then lunges towards a flight attendant and grabs her by the arm while saying ‘no no listen baby, give me a kiss’.
Another flight attendant then rushes to the scene and firmly tells the man to sit down.
‘Get down now, get back’ she says.
The rowdy passenger then falls off from standing on the seat and starts yelling for his parents.
After the plane touched down, Australian Federal Police officers boarded it and questioned the Victorian man, 28, before he was taken for a medical assessment.
