LAHORE: After a grueling past few months of non-stop cricket action, Pakistan’s national team stars have finally got some time off.
In the spirit of Ramadan, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam and his deputy Shadab Khan both distributed Iftaar on the street of Lahore, showcasing their philanthropic abilities as well.
The video of the duo distributing meals to people has gone viral on social media as the fans appreciated their philanthropic gesture.

After distributing Iftar, both the players talked to the media as well. Both Babar and Shadab were in high spirits as they joked around with the media personnel. Babar jokingly asked journalists to not ask any cricket-related questions.

Babar had an outstanding campaign against Australia after a miserable PSL campaign. He scored 390 runs at an average of 78, including a record-breaking 196 and two half-centuries in five innings.
Babar led from the front in the ODI’s, scoring back to back centuries in a winning cause and bagged two consecutive Player of the Match and Player of the Series award for his 276 runs at an average of 138, including two centuries and one half-century.
The skipper of the Pakistan team was also the top run-getter in the one-off T20 match, where he scored 66 off 46 balls. Meanwhile, Shadab Khan did not play any match against Australia in the home series due to injury.
The Green Shirts’ next international assignment will be against West Indies as they tour Pakistan for a three-match ODI series in June.
