Wasim Akram, who has been suffering from diabetes for 25 years, has an important video message for Pakistanis
Wasim Akram, former captain and commentator of the national cricket team, is currently in the Australian city of Melbourne where in a video message said, “I am making a small video for my countrymen. For the last 4 years, I have been warned that to control diabetes, my lifestyle has to be fixed.”

In a video message, Waseem Akram said that statistically, Pakistan was number one in diabetes patients and that type 2 diabetes was linked to human lifestyle which included late eating, sleeping, and lack of exercise.
Akram said, “If you are 25 years old or above, you are requested to take a test that will detect whether you have diabetes or not. The problem with diabetes is that a person does not feel pain and if it does, it is too late.”
Waseem Akram said, “It has been 25 years since I suffered from diabetes, discipline made my life, and world affairs will continue but life is life. Health is wealth and I wish Pakistanis live a healthy life.”
