HOUSTON: Former Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Wasay Jalil, who had distanced himself from politics in 2018, has given a subtle hint at his return to the political arena.
According to details, Jalil is set to hold an important press conference today in the US city of Houston, where he is expected to formally outline his future political plans and address key issues.
Wasay Jalil has previously held several important positions within MQM, including serving as the party’s spokesperson and as a town nazim. He has been considered a prominent figure in the party’s organizational and media affairs during his political career.
Jalil stepped away from active politics in 2018, announcing his withdrawal from political activities at the time. His latest announcement marks a significant development, indicating his re-entry into Pakistan’s political landscape after several years of absence.
