The traffic police have reinstated the mandatory 42-day waiting period for motorcyclists to apply for a valid driving license after obtaining a learner’s permit.
Earlier in September, the government temporarily removed this requirement, allowing citizens to take the motorcycle driving test immediately after acquiring a learner’s permit.
However, in the latest update, Additional IG Traffic Mirza Faran Baig announced that the 42-day waiting period for the driving license test has been reintroduced. Motorcyclists must now wait for this specified time before appearing for the test after securing their learner’s permit.
