Vijay’s latest film, GOAT, directed by Venkat Prabhu, has made a substantial impact at the box office. Released on September 5, 2024, the film had a strong opening and is showing impressive numbers. By the end of its third day, GOAT has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in India, indicating a notable commercial success.
On its opening day, GOAT earned Rs 44 crore in India, with Rs 39.15 crore from the Tamil version, Rs 1.85 crore from the Hindi version, and Rs 3 crore from the Telugu version. Although the film’s earnings saw a slight drop to Rs 25.5 crore on the second day, it rebounded with Rs 33 crore on the third day, breaking down to Rs 29.1 crore from Tamil, Rs 2.15 crore from Hindi, and Rs 1.75 crore from Telugu. The total net collection in India after three days stands at Rs 102.5 crore, with a significant contribution from the Tamil version.
GOAT is currently available in theatres across India. Given the film’s international appeal, it may also be screened in select international markets. Fans of Vijay and action-packed cinema should seize the opportunity to watch GOAT on the big screen while it continues its theatrical run.
