The Israeli military has released drone footage purportedly capturing Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar’s last moments. It shows him hunched over in a dust-covered chair, his head and face hidden by a scarf, and wounded in a shell-shattered Gaza apartment with walls blown out.
According to Israeli army footage, Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar’s final moments are captured on camera from a drone.
The story Israel created about Sinwar hiding out beneath Hamas’ tunnel system beneath Gaza is refuted by this very footage. It seems that the reverse is true, as evidenced by the images and films the occupation provided; despite suffering severe wounds, he appears to have died on the front lines.
A drone was seemingly sent in to scout for combatants before the building with the injured fighter was reportedly shelled.
