Cricket legends Shahid Afridi and Shaheen Shah Afridi were seen dining with their families at a well-known food street in Karachi, where they were warmly welcomed by a throng of fans.

In a conversation with reporters, Shaheen Shah Afridi mentioned that it was his inaugural visit to such a bustling public venue in Karachi. “The people here are truly amazing,” he stated, expressing admiration for the local cuisine. “Karachiites have a penchant for spicy food,” he added with a grin.
Shahid Afridi, in a light-hearted manner, remarked to Shaheen, “Karachi is Karachi,” underscoring the significance of occasionally interacting with the public.
Regarding Shaheen’s dietary preferences, Shahid humorously noted, “Shaheen typically enjoys lamb, but today we encouraged him to sample Karachi’s renowned ‘bun kebab’.” He also emphasized the critical nature of fitness for athletes, stating, “Players take their fitness very seriously, which is commendable. Successfully passing fitness tests is vital for central contracts.”
The former captain further encouraged celebrities to connect more with the public, asserting, “We all bear the responsibility of presenting Pakistan’s positive image to the world.”
