Shehbaz Sharif’s seized assets: AC to announce verdict tomorrow

LAHORE: An accountability court will announce the reserved verdict of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Shehbaz Sharif’s plea over freezing his family assets tomorrow.

The verdict was reserved by the accountability court earlier today after completion of the arguments of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB)’s special prosecutor.

At the outset of today’s hearing in the court, the NAB submitted a complete record recording freezing of Shehbaz’s family assets.

According to the NAB report, the Shehbaz Sharif family accumulated assets of billions of rupees through money laundering.

Shehbaz Sharif is currently residing in London with his ailing brother Nawaz Sharif who has been granted a four-week bail by the Lahore High Court (LHC) on medical grounds.
