ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Faisal Vawda on Monday said that his party plan A had been implemented, B is ready and C would be ‘dangerous’.
Talking during a TV talk show, the former federal minister alleged that Pakistan Democratic Movement was part of a ‘foreign conspiracy’ to thwart the PTI government.
He said that dissolving the National Assembly was Plan A, which had been implemented and plans B and C are also ready. “Plan C will be dangerous”, he warned.
Vawda said they will accept the decision of the Supreme Court on the ruling of the NA deputy speaker and added that they are not like PML-N leaders, who attacked SC in the past.
Commenting on the alleged ‘foreign conspiracy’, the PTI leader said the Tweet of Ahsan Iqbal regarding the removal of PM Imran Khan was retweeted by US Embassy. He also shared a screenshot of the Tweet.
PTI leader said that the threatening letter was shown to the National Security Committee (NSC) and the committee recommended a strong response.
On February 8, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had disqualified PTI’s Senator Faisal Vawda as a lawmaker in a case related to his dual nationality.
In its judgment, the ECP observed that Faisal Vawda had submitted a wrong affidavit at the time of filing his election nomination papers in 2018.
The ECP also declared him ineligible for holding the seat of a senator and ordered to withdraw the notification issued in this regard.
The PTI leader had resigned from his National Assembly seat to conceal his crime, the ECP observed and directed him to return all the perks and financial benefits which he had availed as a lawmaker in two months.
