ISLAMABAD: The United States has announced another $1.6 million in aid for the flood-affected areas of Sindh.
The aid money received from the American side will be used to overcome the food crisis in the flood-affected areas of Sindh.
USAID Deputy Administrator Isobel Coleman and US Ambassador Donald Blome along with other officials visited the flood-affected areas of Khairpur. On this occasion, the American ambassador said that he has seen a serious food crisis in the flooded area.

He said that more than 1.6 lakh children are suffering from a lack of food. To meet this shortage, the US has announced more than $1.6 million in aid for the flood-affected areas of Sindh.
