Two people were injured in separate firing incidents in different parts of Karachi and were shifted to hospitals for medical treatment.
According to Chhipa officials, a man was injured after being struck by a stray bullet near Madina Mosque in Orangi Town No. 4.
The injured man was identified as 30-year-old Noor Khan and was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.
In a separate incident, a man was injured when gunfire erupted during a dispute in Liaquatabad No. 1.
Chhipa officials identified the injured man as Adnan and said he was also shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
Police have launched investigations into both incidents and are working to determine the circumstances and reasons behind the firing.
Five suspected robbers arrested in three Karachi Police encounters
Police arrested five alleged robbers, including three in injured condition, in three separate encounters across Karachi during the past 24 hours, officials said. In the first incident, SITE Super Highway Police arrested two suspects following an alleged encounter in Faqira Goth. One of the suspects, identified as Umair, was injured and shifted to Jinnah Hospital for medical treatment, while his alleged accomplice Zahid was taken into custody for further legal proceedings.
