Police have arrested two individuals, Mansoor and Muhammad Hassan, in connection with a violent protest during which demonstrators stormed a KFC outlet in Karachi. The protest was part of an anti-Israel demonstration against the ongoing violence in Gaza. Protesters called for a boycott of brands perceived to support Israel.
The incident occurred in Defence Phase II near the Khayaban-e-Ittehad traffic signal on Tuesday evening. According to a complaint filed by Shahzaib, an employee of the restaurant, a group of individuals armed with sticks attacked the KFC outlet, smashing windows, destroying furniture, and damaging a television. The group also vandalized a nearby pizza franchise, shattering its windows.

Police reported that the group fled the scene when officers arrived. In addition to Mansoor and Muhammad Hassan, 30 to 35 other individuals have been named in the case. They face charges of rioting, property damage, and related offenses.
Authorities confirmed that the protests, which targeted KFC and Domino’s outlets, were sparked by anger over the ongoing violence against Palestinians. Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
