Two dog bite victims die in Abbottabad

ABBOTTABAD: Two dog-bite victims, including a woman, on Tuesday died in Ayub Medical Complex (AMC) Abbottabad.
As per details, Two people including a woman lost their lives in Ayub Medical Complex Abbottabad suffering from older rabies after being bitten by a stray dog in Kassaki Kalan Abbottabad.
Sources said A woman of village Kassaki Kalan and a male Malik Ayub were bitten by a starry dog a few days ago and both were admitted to Ayub Medical Complex Abbottabad.

Citing the death areas people said that despite several complaints of mad dogs to district administration did not take any step to address the severe issue.
On 29 February, a teenage boy was killed after stray dogs attacked him in the Phularwan area on the outskirts of Sargodha city.

According to sources, 13-year-old Saim Ali was on way to school when the dogs mauled him. Later a passerby found his body which was unrecognizable.
On 14 February, a six-year-old boy was killed after stray dogs attacked him in the Shershah area of the Multan. According to sources, the six-year-old boy named Sujawal had gone into the fields to play when the dog attacked him. As a result, he suffered severe injuries and later died at a home.
