RAWALPINDI: Security forces have conducted operations in the Sharwangi and Tiarza area of South Waziristan where they gunned down a terrorist commander.
According to ISPR, the operation was carried out after receiving information about the presence of terrorists. Nuristan alias Hassan Baba, commander of banned TTP, was killed in an exchange of fire during the operation.
The most sought and wanted killed Terrorist was an IED expert and master trainer who was involved in the martyrdom of more than 50 security forces personnel since 2007.
Last week, the Pakistani military killed two terrorists, including a wanted commander, Rehmat alias Khalid, during an operation in the Malik Khel area of North Waziristan. Sepoy Shehzad Raza was martyred in an exchange of fire with terrorists.

Terrorist commander Rehmat was an expert in making mines. The terrorist commander was involved in kidnappings for ransom, extortion, and attacks on security forces. According to ISPR, a large number of arms and ammunition were recovered during the search operation.
Last week, three terrorists were killed during a security operation in North Waziristan. Earlier this month, four terrorists were killed during a security operation in Mir Ali, while two youths were martyred and four others were injured in the firing.
