Netflix has ordered a sequel to ‘Troll’, a Norwegian modern monster movie that was released last year in December.
Directed by Roar Uthaug, the makers of the movie said that the second installment of ‘Troll’ will be again spinning on a Norwegian fairy tale figure, played, directed, and produced by Norwegians. The film will start shooting in 2024.
The first installment unfolds in the aftermath of an explosion in the Norwegian mountains, which awakens an ancient troll.
The story revolves around a fearless paleontologist who embarks on a journey to stop the troll from wreaking deadly havoc. The cast included Ine Marie Wilmann, Kim Falck, Mads Pettersen and Gard B. Eidsvold.
