Famous TikToker Siddiqui Boss from Karachi once owned three restaurants but with time he ended up working in a banquet to earn livelihood for his family.
In the world of TikTok, many have gained notoriety by creating controversial videos and inappropriate actions, tarnishing their reputation. However, Siddiqui Boss is highly regarded for his poetry. The details of an exclusive interview with MM News are presented below:
MM News: You earned fame through poetry; now, you’re involved in a different business. What kind of business is it, and why the shift?
Siddiqui Boss: People still like me, and I also like people. However, human ventures evolve. We follow the path that brings in more money. I am now moving towards organizing events.
MM News: What is the connection between Saima Banquet and you?
Siddiqui Boss: It’s an extension, but its name is not Saima Bankot; rather, it is starting under the name SB Events. Whoever wants a certain type of setup will get it, and the things needed for events will be arranged accordingly. This way, we will continue to progress.
MM News: How is your health, and did you face difficulties in the past?
Siddiqui Boss: My health is better; I am taking medicines on time. As long as life continues, the journey of life will persist.
MM News: Why aren’t you as active on TikTok as before?
Siddiqui Boss: Nowadays, the issue is with brands. It wasn’t like this before. Either the videos are made on Saima or shooting is done where construction is underway.
MM News: In the past, many TikTokers used to come to meet you in Karachi. Has that process reduced these days?
Siddiqui Boss: TikTokers still come to me. It’s not that they don’t come, but they don’t come in front of the camera. In fact, everyone has their own identity now. When there is no identity, there are more meetings. Now, everyone has grown in their own way, and it is difficult to convince them to make videos together.
MM News: Some say that poetry is not possible until there are affairs. What is your opinion?
Siddiqui Boss: Some people say that, but there is no connection between poetry and affairs. When I recite poetry, I bring together different thoughts and express them. By elevating such a small thing, poetry is created in this way.
