TikToker Kashif Zameer Chaudhry arrested for defrauding Ertugrul 's Engin Altan Duzyatan

LAHORE: Police have arrested TikToker Kashif Zameer Chaudhry for defrauding Turkish actor Engin Altan Duzyatan, who played the role of Ertugrul Ghazi, in Dirilis: Ertugrul.

A case was registered against Kashif Zameer Chaudhry of Toba Tek Singh at the Racecourse Police on the complaint of Engin Altan Duzyatan, while the accused was immediately arrested on the complaint of IG Punjab.

A letter of complaint was sent to the Punjab Home Department by the Turkish Embassy in which it was stated that the accused Kashif Zameer called Altan to Pakistan for the shooting of the Chaudhry Group brand and when he came here, Kashif Zameer did not pay the actor what he offered him earlier.

According to the FIR, the accused Kashif Zameer canceled the agreement after Altan’s team demanded money. When CIA Iqbal Town raided to arrest the accused, he lied that and told the police that he is a government official.

A blue light vehicle and weapons were recovered from the possession of the accused and another case was registered in Nishtar Colony police station. There are several cases of fraud that are already registered against the accused and he has been also been arrested before.

The Turkish actor had submitted an application online with a request to the inspector general of police for action against the TikToker who claimed to be the owner of the Chaudhry Group of Companies.

Earlier, Turkish actor Engin Altan had earlier visited Pakistan and had signed a deal with Kashif Zameer. However, it was revealed that Kashif Zameer did not hold a positive record. Ertugrul actor announced the cancellation with the Pakistani company as a brand ambassador.

“Kashif Zameer has not fulfilled any of the conditions despite the period given under the agreement. The company did not pay even half of the amount as per the agreement. I have not any association with Kashif Zameer anymore,” said the Turkish star. The Turkish actor also announced that he will soon visit Pakistan again to enhance friendly relations between the two countries.
