Popular Pakistani TikToker Hakeem Babar has claimed that he was allegedly given an intoxicating substance in a drink during an Eid-ul-Azha gathering, resulting in a medical emergency that required urgent treatment.
According to Hakeem Babar, he was invited to the home of a man identified as Safdar, also known as “Seeko”, who reportedly told him that his family and children wished to meet him and take photographs during his visit to the village. Hakeem Babar attended the gathering accompanied by his nephew, Saqib.
The social media personality stated that he was initially offered tea before being moved to a neighbouring house under the pretext of a power outage. There, he was allegedly served a glass of juice.
Hakeem Babar claimed that shortly after consuming the drink, he began experiencing severe dizziness and weakness. He said his condition deteriorated rapidly, causing him to collapse to the ground. Realising the seriousness of the situation, he immediately contacted family members and requested to be taken to hospital.
According to reports, a private hospital allegedly declined to admit the case, after which he was transferred to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Sambrial. Doctors there reportedly performed an emergency stomach wash procedure, helping to stabilise his condition.
Hakeem Babar further revealed that his wife, Amber, was present during the visit but chose not to consume the drink and decided to leave early, which he believes helped her avoid any potential harm.
He added that his nephew Saqib also consumed the beverage but did not suffer any adverse effects, while his own condition became critical shortly afterwards.
Following his recovery, Hakeem Babar expressed gratitude to the medical staff who treated him and thanked Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for the healthcare facilities provided during the emergency.
No official investigation findings have yet been released regarding the incident, and the allegations remain based on the TikToker’s account of events.
