TikTok, a popular social media platform, has released its Community Guidelines Enforcement Report for the second quarter of 2024, revealing that it removed 30.7 million videos from Pakistan for violating its community guidelines.
According to the report, TikTok’s automated systems deleted 144.4 million videos, while 99.5% of the removed videos were taken down before users reported them. Moreover, 97% of the removed videos were deleted within 24 hours.
Globally, TikTok removed 178.8 million videos during the same period, with its active detection system removing 98.2% of videos before users saw them.
The report also noted a 50% decrease in reinstated videos, indicating the effectiveness of TikTok’s moderation system.
