A leisure trip turned into a dangerous incident in Naran when a vehicle carrying tourists was swept away in the River Kunhar while they were reportedly attempting to make a video.
According to police, the group of friends tried to take their vehicle across the river for filming purposes. However, due to the strong water current, the vehicle was carried away by the flow.

Rescue officials, including a trained rafting team, used a rescue boat to retrieve the five young men from the water near the Dhamdama area, where the vehicle was swept away.
Authorities said that efforts are ongoing to recover the submerged vehicle. SP Balakot said the vehicle could not be retrieved at night due to darkness, and recovery operations would continue.
DSP Sadaqat Khan confirmed that teams are actively working to retrieve the vehicle from the river.
Meanwhile, the administration has urged tourists to avoid taking vehicles near the banks of River Kunhar, warning that water flow can increase suddenly and create life-threatening situations.
