KARACHI: Three people have been killed after a fire erupted at a three-story yarn factory in Karachi’s Baldia Town area.
According to details, the incident took place in the Baldia Town area where the fire lasted for hours and completely burnt down the three-story building. The fire was brought under control after a six-hour struggle.
Cooling is in progress while a municipal station officer was also injured during extinguishing a fire in a factory. The fire officer said there was no emergency gate at the factory. As per the fire officer, there was only one way to enter the yarn factory.

Lack of safety measures made it difficult to put out the fire. The deceased were identified as Muhammad Kazim, Fayyaz, and Ali Sher. As soon as the news was received, the relatives of the workers reached outside the factory after hearing about their loved ones. Ali Sher’s father complained that the fire brigade vehicle arrived late at the scene.
