Three teenage girls have gone missing from Darul Aman (shelter home) in Abbottabad since August 19 but the authorities seem to have been busy hiding the incident instead of taking any prompt action to recover them, a private TV channel reported on Wednesday.
According to reports, Amina daughter of Irshad, Nisha daughter of Fazlur Rehman, and Sana are among the missing girls. All are under the age of 16. Two girls belong to Abbottabad and one to Swat Valley.
The administration said that the girls jumped over the wall and fled. The girls are yet to be found and no one knows what happened to them.
The relatives of the girls filed an application in the Mirpur police station about the girls’ disappearance and against negligence of the Darul Aman’s administration.
Police have launched a search operation for the recovery of the missing girl.
