WANA: Three girls were killed and four others injured late Saturday night when a quadcopter allegedly dropped munitions on a residential compound in the Nargisai Sui Khula area of Bermal tehsil, Lower South Waziristan.
Local journalist Adam Khan Wazir quoted local sources as identifying the house belonging to one Muhammad Gul.
The three victims, aged between 6 and 15, died on the spot. The four injured, all women and children, were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital Wana where doctors said their condition was stable and treatment was continuing.

An announcement was made in Azam Warsak Bazaar on Sunday morning that graves for the three deceased would be prepared, while the timing of the funeral prayers would be declared later.
While no group or official has claimed responsibility for the strike, residents blamed what they described as an armed quadcopter for the attack.
It is pertinent to mention here that this is the latest in a series of drone and quadcopter related incidents reported from the district over the past year. Dozens of such strikes have been documented, often resulting in civilian casualties, according to local elders and rights activists.
The recurring attacks have sparked a series of protests across the merged districts of the former FATA region.
Residents have repeatedly staged demonstrations in Wana, Miranshah and other towns, demanding an end to what they call “indiscriminate aerial strikes” and greater protection for civilians.
Despite the protests and repeated appeals to federal and provincial authorities, locals say such incidents have continued with alarming frequency.
