‘The Girl In The Mirror’ is a series that is being streamed on Netflix as its new content.
The Girl In The Mirror, also known as ‘Alma’ in Spanish is a supernatural suspense series which was recently released on Netflix is not trending as the ‘Top Ten’ shows so far in Pakistan but there are five reasons why I watched the series and you should too:
Storyline
The supernatural focuses on the life of Alma, a young woman who manages to survive a fatal accident, which results in several deaths and only a few survivors. Alma, who survives now left with no memory of her past tries to make sense of what happened that day and discover who she is.
Theme
The Girl in the Mirror merges horror, thriller, and teen drama. The series explores several significant themes including the line between life and death.
Nine episodes
During nine episodes, the series is rooted in a deep, confusing tragedy in which the viewers and characters must figure out the horror in a co-existed fashion.

What makes it interesting?
The show has everything, the genre is dark and filled with mystery. It’s so confusing yet it keeps you hooked till the end. Not only the mystery but how the concept of ancient black magic exists and still is being used among the youngsters is astonishing.

Season 2: Renewed or cancelled?
Netflix has not green-lit a sequel, however, the conclusion does open things up for a follow-up though. If this one is renewed, expect this to be the crux of the drama, with there likely to be another 8-10 episodes to devour.
